A Fast Flight to Gloucester Finds Our Ideal Rugby Hotel and Copy Writer

The launch date to our new venture was getting closer, and the fact that we had decided to take on an additional copywriter for a couple of months to help us through our launch, so it seemed a good idea to go and meet Jenny in Gloucester, who offers a content management service aimed mainly at web sites. Jenny comes highly recommended from a close friend of mine, who hired her earlier on in the year for some work in his womens magazine.

Making use of the mannx2.com service to Gloucestershire Airport, which is a great little service that takes about an hour. Landing at Gloucester Airport is a great experience, with its exceptionally short runway, only the smallest commercial flights are allowed to land here. Once landed though you can clear customs and be outside the airport in under five minutes.

Gloucester Airport is situated halfway between Cheltenham and Gloucester and is such a small airport, not even having the service of a bus stop or a taxi rank. Luckily for us, we had arranged Gloucester Taxis to meet us up at half past nine and taxi us to our hotel in Gloucester.

Once arrived and checked in, we found we had a room with a view right opposite was the Gloucester Rugby Club Stadium, shame there was no game on tonight as we had a cracking view of the pitch from our second floor window of this listed Edwardian building, one of the only Hotels in Gloucester in walking distance of the City Centre, as many of them are three and four miles outside of the town centre.

We had arranged to meet Jenny at a pub called Cafe Rene for lunch, which apparently has a reputation as a highly haunted building. Over 300 years of reference to ghosts, it sure has some history about it, it even has a deep well inside the bar area, I wonder how many people have fallen down there over the years after a night of drinking.

Our lunch was very successful, our new copywriter was on the same wave length as us, which will make managing the copy more stress free, also, Jenny was very clued up on search engine marketing, so it seems like we found a very good copywriter worth looking after.

On a side note, the Hotel we stayed at over night, The Albert Hotel, is well worth noting if your Rugby team ever play against Gloucester, opposite the ground with plenty of pubs and restaurants close by, this place could not be beaten for its location, there really would be no better Hotel in Gloucester to book than this one!
