February 12th, 2010 Glass Mosaic, Unique Floor Ideas to Liven Up The Living Room
Heading for Mexico for a one month holiday was one of the coolest thing I’d done for me. I didn’t realize this until I got stateside and got on an idea to take a piece of my great getaway into my own home. An unforeseen event happened seven days before I showed up from my holiday. My sister was house sitting at that time and told me everything ended up being okay. I suppose she forgot to see the giant fracture in my dining room floor.
When I studied the gape in my dining room floor I immediately thought of this beautiful scenery that was embellished on the floor of the hotel where I rented. It had been created from fine sand and industrial indigo glass pieces, and created the image associated with a renowned painting by Leonardo da Vinci. I thought that as opposed to getting the floor resealed I would definitely upgrade the whole ground by using glass mosaic tile for sale to generate a unique appearance in the house.
I thought it was going to be difficult but I was lucky enough to enlist a manufacturer which will custom cut and ship iridescent tiles accurately to ensure that it will match our painting plans. I slaved several days meticulously placing every single tile piece separately, but the endgame ended up being absolutely fantastic. I guess my painting was absolutely nothing like a Leonardo da Vinci, but I think every acquaintance I have over offers nothing but marvel to say about my intricate yet stunning floor painting made from glass mosaic tiles.
